If evolution is true, and we evolved from lesser creatures, why are there still creationists?

The universe was created 6k years ago. Light from stars and galaxies traveled faster back then... that's why they look like they're older than they should.
I find it amusing that his tie has an apatosaurus on it, or at least something akin to one.

1. Cognitive faculties can only be trustworthy if there is a supernatural agency who intended for them to be so (a play off Darwin's private speculation, to paraphrase, "Can we really trust the mind of an evolved monkey?")
2. The logical incoherence of an infinite regress means God did it. 3. Intentionality requires an Unmeant Meaner.
