You can rely that my purpose(s) don't rely on my theism any more than a Christian's relies on their theism. Neither singular opinion offers any guidelines for purpose on their own.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

So in 1840's Mississippi, a black slave's purpose was to do his white master's bidding. Upon receiving their freedom after the civil war, how many slaves pined away at their lost "purpose?"

Human purpose is contingent whereas Divine Providence is fundamental. The lesser is within the greater.
