You're going to have to come with some pretty good reasoning if you want us to accept your denial of the Big Bang Theory. Until you provide something more substantial than a backhanded compliment regarding intelligence as justification for your claims, you are nothing more than a crank.

Well why don't you just go with God did it through magic? It makes as much sense as the Big Bang and it makes for a better story.

Maybe you can give a synopsis of what was in the ball that went "bang". Catholic theories are fascinating.

As a 21st Century educated American you should be able to see the flaws in the Big Bang Theory yourself. It partially works on an individual star basis when a star goes supernova but not for the creation of the universe. Think about it and you will see why.

I've spent a great deal of time considering the big bang theory. It's not analogous to a supernova in any way (hint: one involves matter, the other does not).

If you're just going to assert shit without any kind of explanation or reference, I'm going to dismiss it as bullshit just as easily.

You made the claim, put up, or shut up.

If I know God, and a billion other people know God, I consider that pretty good evidence for God. If God is supernatural, and you look for proof only by natural means you won't find him. I can understand why you consider the existence of God to be illogical, but it's hard to convince someone who knows God that he really doesn't know him.

If 4 billion people on the planet claim to know Susan Price, but no one can agree on what Susan actually is, what it (she?) does, thinks, or instructs of us, than your statement "I know Susan" really doesn't mean anything. And to those of us who largely understand what Susan actually is (and isn't), based on an abundance of research into psychology, neurology, anthropology, history of religion, etc., we know your conception of Susan evolved over many millennia into the contradictory identities of the various Susans embraced via elaborately transcribed stories today.

If 4 billion people on the planet claim to know Susan and they can't agree about what Susan is, I may not know exactly what she is, but I would definitely be convinced that she exists.

We're all flogging dead horses on both camps.
I've decided that there's 3 types of people on earth.

Those that are prepared to believe out of instinct
Those that are prepared to believe out of reasoning
Agnostics are those who are having problems finding reasons for their instincts
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Then you're really not trying to understand the world in which you live, and I'm sorry you're not interested. It seems like compelling evidence... until you start researching how it is that ideas evolve and spread from culture to culture, especially the idea of Gods.

I understand what you're saying, that concepts do change as culture evolves, but the one dominant fact is that people have always believed in a god since the beginning of recorded history. They may have different concepts of him, but they did believe in a supernatural god - even as the understanding of our natural world expanded.

I believe in ALL Gods, because I don't believe in God.
I believe in ALL Religions, because I don't believe in Religion.
Therefore, there is nothing to argue about God and Religion. Smile

Why don't you look at it from a more reasonable perspective? Ancient people used to believe in gods and goddesses because they just didn't know any better. They didn't have access to the level of education we have now.
