A litle birdie told me- we asked to be here

You know, I wasn't going to come back to this post, but seeing the pages add up
I had to check it out. Glad I did. Adventures with Bill has nothing on your comments. Actually, the concept didn't come from a bird. It came from a Katt.
That was good Cato,
You made me think of the other day when we saw one of the neighborhood cats jump up on the fence ready to pounce on the squirrel heading it's way. The cat took off towards the squirrel just as the squirrel lunged at the cat going full speed. Cat did a 180 and a flying leap off the fence. RE: A litle birdie told me- we asked to be here

Had a funny scene with a cat myself the other week. I was house-sitting (or rather cat-sitting; she has one and a half of them, a 'mature' one and a kitten) for Shell while she was away down South for the week. Said kitten, Misty, decided she was going to jump onto the neighbour's fence and was preparing to hop into his garden. So I crept over with the intention of either grabbing hold of her in some way, or at least discouraging her. It all happened so fast, it was one of those one in a billion happenings that you just couldn't plan. The very instant my hand - it was my left hand, as well - flashed out to stop her was the instant she chose to make her leap. So out of pure instinct, I grabbed hold of the only thing I could, which just happened to be her tail. So there I am, hauling a totally bemused, hissing, spitting, upside-down furball by the tail, out of midair and back over the fence. She wasn't hurt, she weighs next to nothing; she was just surprised and embarrassed.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Considering that it's the season, shouldn't there be a movie about this?
