RE: 3 stages made me believe in Islam: 1-atheism
I think he's trying to say that every single aspect of the universe is like a self controlled and purposely designed system and each system can interact with each other.

I think he's been watching too much of 'The Matrix' :S

Quote:I'm going to give you a quick answer. You lack knowledge and understanding and so have opted for the god of the gaps argument. You don't know this_____so you fill in the missing information with "goddidit".
It's not knowledge, it's guess work. Saying goddidit is not differant from saying santadidit.
There is no evidence to suggest that some supernatural being was behind it but despite lack of supporting evidence, you still opt for that conclusion.
Just because we don't know something doesn't automaticly mean goddidit.

Saying goddidit only raises more questions.
you are saying your opinion on things i didnt talk about yet thats really funny plz read the NB

your choice of word is either mistaken or revealing.

My opinion of you and your beliefs based on your post. Catch up.

Twat.

I see no point in debating with this one.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

If he has shown us anything so far, it is that he does not listen to a single word anyone here says to him. He even goes so far as to say we should stop telling him our opinions about what he posted. Ace is correct. There is no point in trying to debate with this one. He will not/does not listen. I gave up some time ago.

Quote:1-don't know too far into the future
2-how do you know there's a before existence
3-eternal never beginning never ends, the universe might be eternal(god is eternal, universe is eternal, universe is god, the )
4-No because god can't be proven
5-There is lot of proof that god from the abraic scriptures doesn't exist, that or if he exists he is malevolent and a liar.
lol i wasnt looking for answers to the reasons that made me say propably there is god(as it depend on everyone personal opinion) i just was looking for the answers i quoted above which lead to the same result i had that we cant prove the existance of god 100% if all religions is like what ppl claims(lot of contradictions, scientific errors and based on faith only not reasons)
Quote:your choice of word is either mistaken or revealing
i dont know what do you mean but i meant that this was the reasons that increased the probability that there is god and then i started searching for a prove in other ways which was mainly searching in different religions

The reason that you are a muslim would seem obvious. You were raised by a muslim family and from the earliest age were taught that it was true.

The fact that you rebelled for a while doesn't mean that you haven't been indoctrinated.

"to prefer something" usually relies on emotions.

Since we do have thread about deconversion stories, having conversion stories might also be interesting.

Maybe your parents weren't very religious but the society you live in is religiously influenced and it has influenced you since your birth. You'll easily find muslim apologists to convince you that Allah is real in Egypt, but you won't find a lot of christian apologists lol. You've been in interaction during your whole life only with one side of the God argument. You've been shaped by social pressures more than you think.

Your argument boils down to this: "I don't know how stuff got here, I don't like not knowing how stuff got here, I'd rather believe I have all the answers without any evidence to support that proof, Islam got to me first, so I'll go with that."

Argument from Personal Incredulity at its finest.
