Be Kind to Islam Week

I'd rather celebrate "Islam Sucks Week". The only safe Qu'ran is a burned Qu'ran. The only good prophet is an insulted prophet.

Of course, every week is Islam Sucks Week, but sometimes it's nice to do something special.

While I agree Islam amply suck, I still prefer to reserve award for sucking to the most deserving. Christianity still deserves it more.

Curious why you would think Christianity deserves it more...

While Christianity has at its core a vile philosophy, it's relatively neutered for now at least.

Islam is a red hot virus, hell-bent on world domination. At the least a significant portion of adherents would dearly relish such world domination and seem to be working feverishly to bring it about.

Also Islam isn't just a religion; it's a fascist manifesto.

Atheists are mean because we tell people their beliefs are ridiculous and that we shan't be adhering to them without evidence to sway us.

Ain't nothing wrong with that unless you're the one with the beliefs.

Also, Islam can go fuck itself until it gives me a reason to think of it as anything other than a violent opressive religion.

Islam's main avenue of development is not in the parts of the world with the organization, wealth, productivity, and creativity to dominate the world. Islam would mainly make backward parts of the world, the washed up in the story of human progress, more of a hell hole. Human progress in science and understanding had not been led from where Islam can really thrive, human progress on the whole would not be severely hampered if Islam does the worst it is capable of in regions where it had potential to dominate.

Not so with Christianity. Christianity is not tamed, merely caged. It's ambition is undiminished. In the form of the United States, Christiainity does have the potential to dominate parts of the world with the organization, wealth, productivity, and creativity to dominate the world. Christainity could, and eagerly wish to, exert inflecnce on parts of the world which had led human progress in understandng and science. human progress on the whole would be severely hampered if Christianity does the worst it is capable of and wishes to do in regions where it had potential to dominate.

You mean the poorer colonies, or colonies with larger wealth-poverty gap. Christianity preferentially prey upon the under-educated and otherwise ill equipped to make life satisfying in the context of the world around them.

When reality offers little hope, the poorly educated can easily be persuaded to seek hope in delusion, and wherever there is tendency towards self deception, carrion eating christian missionaries are there.
