you know people are going to catch on right.. it goes from hey the pope said god isn't all that magical to a whole new thing god just made the system of science that scientists use. yeah... its still conflicting some where because adam and eve wouldn't be human because of evolution so were not made in gods image. again this is a guy with power knowing full well how to manipulate anything and a religion so big like that it has an affect on people and would drive people crazy if they had the world hit them with harsh reality so i'm guessing he is letting it fall into place slowly like yeah..god blah blah is amazing and science. i wouldn't be surprised one day he is like take a fucking hint science is right.

I don't really have a problem with this pope in particuluar, he's just doing business as usual for the Catholic Church. I'm more disappointed with the media representation of him as some sort of great reformer, and even moreso with the number of atheists that buy into his shit just because they heard a handful of words out of context.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

He got promoted without having been proven to have had a personal role in sheltering pedophiles. That has to be the wind of serious reform blowing through the corridors of Vatican right there.
