God.

God.
I'm starting to think xtians are right. Having "God" as the answer to everything makes it all much simpler.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

I used to be a Christian so I am highly qualified to answer it.
As for you, why don't you crucify yourself?

Hey, I got to endure sunday school and confirmation and all that claptrap, I feel entitled to answer, and I acually did try to give it my best shot. But do you actually just complain, or put your own answer?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

It seems obvious that he created Satan to test us.
The clear corollary is that your god doesn't know everything.

Watch the Christian tap dance when they try to rationalize a god that supposedly knows everything, with one that needs to test.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Not true. Just because he knows what we're going to do doesn't mean he makes us do it. There are some christians who believe he does leave it open, but I think he is not subject to time, and that he always sees the beginning and the end. Keep in mind that we're evaluating him based on human understanding. We can't fully comprehend God. All this stuff like Can God make a rock so heavy he can't move it?" are just inadequate ways we come up with to try to understand the nature of God.

Then why bother making assertions about his nature like "God can do anything" or "God is good"?

Because the bible makes the assertions and we believe that the bible is the word of God.

So the nature of God is knowable, through the statements in the Bible, but other than those specific statements, he's unknowable?

At which point you lose all credibility.
