For Creationists.

RE: For Creationists.
All conveniently dead..lol. I'm sticking with it man, I think he means genus and doesn't realize it.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

They simply look the other way. Whenever you post some link to human fossil records, they walk over it without even a second glance.

Ignorance is bliss. You can't argue with someone stuck in an Orwellian bubble.

If he does, he means genus right up until the moment you can show a transition between genii. Then it'll mean something else. Because it's not about depicting an accurate biological system here, if it was everyone would just use the standard classification system, because it's much more detailed and widespread in use. It's about disagreeing with evolution; "kind" has no set definition because it has no connection with science, or evolution, or even reality. It's a tactic, not a description.

Just to prevent the all too common, but fundamentally stupid question of why there are still apes.

The real question is why is there still water?

If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)

It's vital we get to the heart of the pertinent issues in this thread, surely it's,

'Are fish a 'kind'?'

I was asked about "Kinds", the word and concept predates the culture of evolution by several hundred years.
Lately, the naturalists are confused by what it means.

When you go to get an ice cream, you are asked what KIND you want.
You specify vanilla and you do not get chocolate.

Neither do they become one or the other over millions of years.
If you have a dog, you might be asked what KIND of dog you have?
Pretty simple isn't it.
The genetic code is what? Silly putty?

This ridiculous quote is now up on the Fundies Say The Darndest Things website (http://www.fstdt.net), where it is getting some proper ridicule.
