GC
But who is the intended audience of the NT and how long is it intended to stand? Are gentiles living beyond the shores of Palestine being addressed? Or is it just too soon to know?
Oops, I see you answered in the time it took me to ask. Spooky. (Did god put you up to it?)

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I believe you have got that the wrong way round.
Yes yes, we know; we'll see it when we believe it.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

No, let's not. I clearly misinterpreted your point; I would appreciate a correction, so I can follow your meaning.

Well he said he would believe if Jesus did his bidding but that is not how it works.

Hmm. So if Jesus doing his bidding making him a believer is the wrong way round, the only interpretation I can see is he has to believe first and then Jesus will do his bidding. If that's not what you meant then all I can suggest is you need to work on your clarity.

I didn't read all the pages of this one.
I feel fine about the current status of Christianity.
Because the time we are in is like the depression the sea gets at the shore before the Tsunami rolls in.
When the enemy comes in (that would be the AC and FP on the scene NOW)-
the Lord (that would be the real God) will raise a standard against him.
This last wave of the age is either going to lift you up or drown you.
Remember Pharaoh?
He and his army got drowned.
This world system is Egypt and Pharaoh / Phase II is coming.
I am stoked. Hey, I read the back of the book and we win.
