The invisible had is not what some people think it is. Only a complete moron would argue for a total free market. Labour laws are a limitation, by nature anti-market and anti-competition between workers (preventing a race to the bottom) but are a tremendous necessity - It's also funny that economics has never proven that a lack of stability and rules both in the workplace and general quality of life work against profit and revenue, as well as GDP increases.

That looks like an economic and social suicide apologist to me.
I think capitalism is the only economic system that works, but I also know that capitalism doesn't work without proper regulations because no matter how cliché it can be to say this, everyone knows employers would largely exploit workers and pay them miserable wages if it wasn't for labour laws or unions discussing workplace and wage rules to avoid catastrophic inhumane results.

I completely agree about the need for regulation. But "regulation" goes against what these robber barons want.

Apparently they like to claim labour laws are meant to oppress them and diminish their productivity - As if labour laws were meant to privilege economic results over basic human and social dignity (*sigh) in the first place.

We can back up facts with studies and observations like the ones you linked, still there are people who believe in the myth of the self-made man who is being oppressed because raising 30€ of minimum wage per month (like my government just did for 2015) is an attempt against the employers' human rights...

Hey, there are people who think a dead jew came back to life to atone for their fucking sins, too. You can't fix stupid, as the saying goes.

We're not talking about a free market anymore, we're talking about a rigged market to the disadvatage of the customer. That's what you get when you don't regulate. The big ones buying the small ones in order to eliminate competition.
