A bunch of democratic congressmen are staging a sit-in on the house floor over the House's failure to act on gun control legislation.
The republicunt leadership did what they do best: Declare a recess and leave. 
I have heard that some of them finally figured out they can make the republicans do what's right if they stand their ground. They just have to keep doing it until something gets done. They have the support of the vast majority of the country, including republican and NRA member voters. You just have to drag these politicians through the mud until they change, or get replaced come next election.
