Atheism VS Christian Atheism?
Hey guys. I'm curious to know the difference between regular Atheism and Christian Atheism. Is Christian Atheism still Atheism? Can a Christian Atheist still identify as Atheist? Thanks a bunch.

If pinkie pie isn't real, then how do you explain the existence of ponies, huh? If ponies are real, then that's proof that Pinkie Pie is real. Checkmate, christians!  Heart

Atheism is very simple. It means you don't believe in any gods. I don't know what christian atheism is, but if you're trying to say you're a christian that isn't certain if Yahweh/Jesus really exists, you're an agnostic theist.

No. I'm not saying I'm a Christian who doesn't know if Yahweh or Jesus really exists, I'm saying I'm a person who rejects the belief in a God or Gods(atheist) but prefer to see Jesus as a teacher of morals.

Not likely, christ is an honoric, a title - not his last name. Who "annointed" jesus, who "chose" jesus, and for what was he chosen?

-That ought to answer your question.

All that said, the point of contention is largely academic. If you want to call what you have christian atheism, if that's how the group identifies itself. Meh, not my call when it comes to someone elses brand-name, no matter how unfortunate I may consider it to be. I think, that in the case of folks who don't believe in god, Jesusism probably fits better. A jesusist can be an atheist, though, if that's what you're asking*.

*interpretations of what jesusism is and entails vary.

Your best bet is to be agnostic theist instead of being Atheist christian because that kind of muddies water to much that is clean.

I mean come on Christian atheism.. i mean by that your defeating your own purpose as a believer. Better off with being agnostic just saying.
