According to Tulsa World, the national president of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity said Sunday evening that the OU SAE chapter has been given an immediate cease and desist order just hours after the video appeared online.

In the brief video, posted on Twitter by a group of black students called OU_Unheard, the frat brothers can be heard singing and clapping along to a song with the repeated lyrics of “There will never be a n****r SAE,” along with a line about lynching, “You can hang them from a tree (inaudible)”.

During the game, students in the home team Flower Mound’s cheering section held up signs that said “White Power.” They were caught on camera and the image went viral on the social medium Twitter.

Thinking about the White Power... that reminded me of the Power Rangers.

The first two white rangers were the leaders of their teams.

Thomas "Tommy" Oliver (Jason David Frank)... As the White Power Ranger, he led his team.

I wonder... could the Power Rangers have started as racists? That would be funny, lol.

I was glad to hear that the OSU fraternity was evicted from campus grounds on account that "we at OSU won't help bigots." Good to see bullshit called for what it is.

I don't know what show it was, I tuned into it on PBS and they were handing little girls different dolls to play with. Some dolls were caucasian and some weren't. Most (all?) the girls wanted to play with the cauc dols, regardless of their race and (apparent) upbringing.

Apparently the 'racial' thing is far deeper ingrained.

Wish I had watched the whole show. It was on a PBS subchannel last week sometime in the afternoon.

Bob Mirabito, CEO of Baton Rouge’s Capital Area Transit System (CATS), apologized this week after asserting that busses were not being used by white passengers because there were not enough white drivers.

During an interview last week, podcaster Clay Young had asked Mirabito how he handled the “racial divide” at CATS after taking over the CEO job.

“CATS is actually 95 percent African-American,” Mirabito explained, according to The Advocate. “And unfortunately our demographics don’t match Baton Rouge.”

Racism, sexism, and homophobia are serious problems in pretty much every country. Basically, any type of "ism" or "phobia" involving hating or thinking one is superior to another group of people, is a problem throughout the world. Yes, sometimes they are worse in some places than in others, The problem is that someone shouldn't pretend that these issues aren't really "that bad" in their country just because they are worse in another. That is essentially a fallacy of relative privation.
