I'm aware of your disgusting beliefs GC. Thing is, I don't care how super duper powerful you think your god is, and what rights you think that entails. I don't need to leave the earth to see powerful rulers abusing their subjects - and I already think it's deplorable. An even more powerful ruler abusing it's subjects from "on high" via magic doesn't impress me in the least, and I'm not interested in stringing up "the better man" for my own failures - or because some despot doesn't like something I've done.
Christianity has nothing to offer me, or any other decent human being.

-as I count you a decent human being Polaris - as I count the vast majority of human beings alive as decent people.
I can see people that way because I'm not a moral and ethical cripple, hobbled by a long list of things god finds icky which I must endorse if I want desert after dinner.
Would either of you like to endorse punishments that severe, do either of you feel that our courts should be handing them out? Because that's all that matters, once we're done flogging our religious peens, ala GC..or shooting the messenger, ala yourself. I think..that you both know that it's wrong.

If I acted exactly like most descriptions of god, I would be in prison. IE: Not a decent person.
I imagine most religious short busers would say their child deserved it.
God does not exist. Thankfully this is nothing more than conjecture. And I haven't any children for god to torture.

God is meant to be the standard of good, yet does the most evil thing anyone could ever do:
Eternal torture for finite perceived crimes which can include just thinking about something that Jesus doesn't want you to.
I'd love to hear anyone come up with something more evil than that. Seriously, have at it Christians. Yes, I know some of you don't believe in this, but whether or not you believe in it doesn't change whether it's true. A lot of Christians think this way, so you'd be defending them if you can come up with something more evil for me.
