What is your ideal world with religion?

What role would religion? Could you ever keep religion out of politics? As long as people have fervent religious beliefs, it seems like politicians would always have to pander to such people.

Not if they become the ever increasing minority, as they are. When their numbers decrease, pandering to them won't help much.

These are my opinions:

No, I would say it's literally impossible to "stop" religion, and I wouldn't try to. If religion is defined as any set of supernatural beliefs optionally including a god, how exactly could you ever stop one or more people holding such beliefs? I would never dictate to people what they can and can't believe, or talk about.

All you can work with is the law, to stamp out favouritism and keep it out of politics. Indoctrination and bogus teaching should be kept out of schools. So really, anything the state/government provides should be secular. Of course you can be taught about different religions, that is not the same as being preached to.

We should regulate organized religion so that it is accountable and taxed like a business. Religion does not require a particular building to be practiced in, so if you want to maintain one, and you are taking people's money, then you are a business. Your books should be as open as any other business. The fact that you deal in intangible products does not change this fact. If you are in fact a charity, then you can apply for charitable status like any other business.

I am not against religion per se, I am against the harm it causes. Remove that harm, and we have a good relationship.

A better solution is to establish a new religion. Destroy all the ancient religions by inventing a religion without the concept of God, Hell & Heaven.

We can introduce good moral values with modern sciences such as (Astronomy, Physics and Chemistry) then form a respectful religion suited for all races of the world. Simply, we can take the Bible with the Quran, then work on removing all the nonsense verses regarding Hell, Angels, God, Killing etc... We keep only the stuff which is related to the Age we are living. I for example have pursued a different approach by finding a religion which is appropriate for my personality that defines who i am. At the end I chose football as my Religion.

Hey Prince, That's part of the 5 hour Illuminati conspiracy youtube thing I posted last week.
Towards the end, they mention that among many other things, a unified religion is necessary as part of the New world order.
By this stage, Prince William will be at the top of the food chain amongst the Illuminati, he will leave what's her name and marry a muslim woman.
This will unite the 2 biggest opposition religions and become one new one. This will happen in the next 10 years.

If you took the bible, removed all the supernatural nonsense, removed the irrelevant garbage, removed the inaccurate history and removed the immoral examples given... I'm not sure how much would be left, and whether it would be significantly better than a piece of paper with "Try not to be a dick" written on it.

There would be a bit of history, and some insight into the cultures at that time, to be fair.

I don't know the Quran so well, so I'm not sure if it would fare better after a purge. I would love to see people rewrite these stupid books, so that they actually say what people tell us they say.

Well clearly no one is, so I'm being discriminated against. It's obvious favouritism for wealthy, bigger religions.
