Let's just assume it only gets transmitted if you touch with the infected part and move on.
Stonemen, obviously, only need to touch with any part of their bodies.

I don't think Dany has greyscale just because it would be a really cheap way for such a major character to die
“The larger the group, the more toxic, the more of your beauty as an individual you have to surrender for the sake of group thought. And when you suspend your individual beauty you also give up a lot of your humanity. You will do things in the name of a group that you would never do on your own. Injuring, hurting, killing, drinking are all part of it, because you've lost your identity, because you now owe your allegiance to this thing that's bigger than you are and that controls you.” - George Carlin
Either way, I agree with Aroura: really bad effing writing.
Nolite te bastardes carborundorum.
Same, they clearly wanted to draw attention to the fact that Jorah and Dany touched hands, it's reasonable to assume that Greyscale is the reason why they did that and not just because they're reunited

Maybe Dany's immune to it thanks to her dragon genes. I mean, she can walk through fucking fire, I doubt she'd be set back much by a little disease.

The writers never clearly defined how it gets transmitted... you have the tale of Shireen and Jorah telling Tyrion not to let the stonemen touch him.
The Shireen thing where she contracts the disease from an infected doll does make it weird...
Poor writing, sure. But Dany isn't getting greyscale.
In every country and every age, the priest had been hostile to Liberty.

Well. It's Schroedinger's Greyscale for now. Dany both has it and doesn't have it until we watch episode 10.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I doubt they will tell us in episode 10. Probably leave it until next season.
Maybe she's just a carrier now....I mean, if she's immune. I rewatched the episode, and they close up on them touching, then close up on her holding hands with Missendi, then Jorah touches Dany a LOT during the battle. I calle it bad writing in a fit of picque. The writers, as far as I'm aware, have never done anything this stupid in GoT's before, so I don't think it can be bad writing (not that bad anyway, that would be so far out stupid, I refuse to believe they would do it). Sir Jorah greyscale touching Dany will have some significance. Doesn't mean she has it, but it will have an effect on the story somewhere eventually, even if it just gets him banished again when she finds out he has it and went around carelessly touching people. Chekhov's Gun. Now we all just get to sit back and wait and see what it is. And SteelCurtain, love that, Schroedinger's Greyscale, lol. Yep.
“Eternity is a terrible thought. I mean, where's it going to end?”
― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead
I have to give writing credit to the writers of Silicon Valley. Funniest show on TV right now.
