This. I still cannot understand why christers think their marriages are somehow tainted or lessened by this. If their bullshit slippery slope arguments came to fruition and people started marrying their pets, that would not affect my marriage in the slightest. How the fuck does Adam and Steve getting hitched affect theirs?!? Fuck 'em all.

It's simply nauseating that they are trying to portray themselves as victims of prejudice, as if they now have something in common with the people they themselves have marginalized.

Christians, I know this is hard for you to understand, but not allowing you to persecute others is not persecuting you.  Regardless of whether or not you consider your bigotry to be part of your religious beliefs, refusing others their rights isn't acceptable.

But, but, you're going to hell if we don't do this!  They shouldn't have rights because >god< says so!  It's right there in the bible, I don't know where, but it is!  We're being persecuted for trying to do what is best for this country and our future.  You'll be sorry.

Pius IX : The only Freedom of Religion is the ability to practice the only religion that is true; Catholicism

The Vatican has rejected the concept of Human rights decreeing that no such thing exists, so it's kinda pointless to appeal to that with them since it's an evil document. http://www.concordatwatch.eu/topic-47307.843

All that aside....just how blind, deluded and self absorbed do you have to be to cry persecution....as a member of 70% of the demographic? -_-

What gets me, is they literally have no understanding of why they might be hated for their views, why they might be looked down upon. What do they assume it's for? Because people just hate them? For no reason? The irony is unbearable.

To be a 'victim' of marriage equality laws, those laws would have to include provisions penalizing people for being in hetero marriages.

No one is victimized by this.  No one at all.

And then the moderate, progressive Christians get hit with crazy fucking bitches like this, spewing one big No True Scotsman in their face. This woman is so inspired by her hate for gay people that it spills over into her hate for abortion and Islamic "extremelists".

Warning: unbearable.

I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue
