Obviously, when you referred earlier to imdb lists, you were speaking about amateur lists, so you didn't even know about the list I provided you with.
Sigh, do I have to google everything for you? Maybe you should lay off the awesome C++ coding and learn more how to type things into google, Neo.

Who's to say that IDMB stats list doesn't contain amateur movies ? it doesn't have to make a category for amateur movies, you simply don't know what's behind those numbers.
A restricted search query of
- for feature films
- year 2004
- rate must be 6.0 or higher
resulted in only 439 results and some of them are documentaries and stand ups, or not even english speaking movies.
same query but removing the 6.0 restriction and you get 5579 results, the amount of films with the rate of 1.0 was laughable.
Use this link to confirm : http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=cambodia, just remove the keyword cambodia from the options.
and again IDMB's feature movies list puts movies from all over the world and all I needed was english speaking movies.

You're telling us there's 17725 feature films overall, IMDB is telling us there's 388,908 of them, and it probably even let's you choose from the criteria you want with a PROIMDB membership.

I read. You seem to not address imdb's listing of feature films though. Also, nobody cares if it's english releases or not, and apparently, neither did you in the OP.
BTW, did you overlook the fact that your wiki source also lists TV movies? Do those enter your ill-defined criteria(you know, that thing on which you're supposed to base something on, such as a listing) as well? Or is your criteria whatever the fuck you want it to be?
Fact: your feature films' statistics is unscientific and flawed(not to mention redundant).
P.S. I have yet to find anything but english releases on imbd's listing, not that I claim to have bothered looking much. Did you though?
Look, man, we can squash this squabble easy enough, just tell me what exactly was your intention in making this list and how did you achieve that goal.

what really bugs me is the arrogance in your way of saying it. you're agreeing with yourself that you're right and no doubt about that.
ill-defined criteria ?
it's a good enough criteria for my search engine project, which is basically going to be : indexing and search through all the scripts/subtitles in movies for a anything the user wants. why would I want chinese movies, documentaries, or stand ups to be included in my list ?
how did I achieve my goal in producing this simple list(which is not the project), like i said in the OP: by rapidxml,C++ and wikipedia.

If my children are anything to go by then movie going is declining because they are either playing video games or watching you tube clips of people playing video games.

Obviously, you already said that in OP, so I'm just going to take that as an answer that admits defeat by deflecting an obviously different q than the one answered in the OP, duh.
No worries man, we all fuck up sometimes...
People, the movie industry couldn't be livelier. This is how urban legends are born - stupid people think they're scientists, spread some random bullshit on a forum and everyone who isn't an expert looks at it and thinks, oh, wait, this guy suurely knows what he's talking about, I'll believe him.
He didn't even include movies for years to come: like wtf, you're trying to make a thread about the future, you don't include any future in it at all and omit 99% of the past? Now that's having balls, I'll give you that.
How many times do I have to say this?
Wikipedia is not a scholastic source of knowledge, your random Steve can post there(actually he does, by definition). It's definitely not a place for an amateur statistician to take his info from. Also, you have to have the scientific mindset in order to aspire to do smth of the sort, and that means accepting when you're wrong, my friend, indifferent of how arrogantly might that wrongness be revealed by others. Facts matter. Your statistics are half-assed - that's a fact.

I'm with you excitedpenguin, how are people like me, people who conpletely lack perspective, supposed to know when to take a thread about the movie industry seriously? Thanks for uncovering Marsha's sinister motives!
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

"we all fuck up sometimes" ? so, you declared me to be wrong anyway ? LOL
bro, turn now the huge ego button that you have up ur ass, it's getting annoying as fuck.
you don't have to believe me, that is what the forum is made for, so we can discuss shit like that like adults. spreading random bullshit MY ASS.
I'm not starting an urban legends, these are statistics that you disagree with.somehow you want low-2 grand-budget-bollywood-movies to be included and along with the amteur movies with a score of 1.0
you hate wikipedia. not my problem, at least I can see where my numbers came from, I gave you the name list didn't I ? all you can see in the IDMB stats list is a one number.
movies for years to come ? LMAO, that is just stupid, some movies haven't declared their date release and they being made right now, adding future movies is meaningless to the stats.
