Last night while at pool league, the league owner had set up a meet and greet with Lee Brett. I got to play a game of 9 ball with him. This is me taking a shot at the 1 ball.
Me with Lee Brett. OMG that expression on my face though! Ha ha ha.
He was racking for 8 ball when I asked him if we could play 9 ball instead, since that what I play in the league. What an amazing opportunity I got!
He even signed my shirt for me:

I've grown used to snooker tables.... that one looks so small!
What's the deal with the gloves? Doesn't the cue slide well enough through your fingers, across the pond?

That's a regulation bar-sized table. So it's not 9 by 4.
I wear a glove because the bar doesn't have chalk for the hands, just the cues. Makes it easier when you've been drinking lol

So that's what I've been doing wrong! I never used any chalk on my hands, nor gloves!!!

Man, the first time I shot on a snooker table, I felt like I needed binoculars to see the far bank.
I don't use gloves, but because I use house cues, I do talc my hands. If I owned my own cue, I'd simply take steel wool to the last two feet or so.

Many of us in the league use gloves. It just makes things so much easier. Especially if one tends to have sweaty hands.

Glad you noticed that. It was awesome
I'm pretty sure he couldn't miss me bending over. I mean, I did shoot a game of pool with the guy.

C'mon LFC, there's a million other ways! Don't give up. How old are you, 91?
Ask your husband. He looks smart?
