That may be true, if I show verses forbidding slavery, will you change your mind?

About what?  We both already agree that slavery sucks. I don't need magic book to tell me that. What's left?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

It would mean those verses are to remain consistent with Quran, should be interpreted as Muta.

You can interpret them however you like, for..what, the sixth or seventh time?

Again, good job, keep it up.

It's not about what I want, it's about if it's believed to be from God how should be viewed? And how should be viewed if Quran verses are suppose to interpret and shed light to one another?

I suppose it's about how something should be viewed if they believe in the god that you do..sure?  Like, for example..regardless of what magic book says..you don't think that a god would be okay with slavery and sexing up slaves.

I agree with you here already, wholeheartedly.  There's nothing to change my mind about, unless you want to convince me that a good god would be ok with slaves and sexing up slaves.

Even if your book didn’t need reinterpretation to say what you think it should say, so what? What if you are able to convince us that the Quran does not condone slavery and/or “sexing up” slaves? What then? What do you hope to achieve with us by demonstrating that your book does indeed say what you believe it to says? What’s written inside the book can’t speak to the validity of the book itself, as you’ve been told over, and over, and over....so, what’s the point of all of this?

Once all the problems people have with the bad interpretations of Muslims regarding the book go away - then perhaps they will reflect and see it for what it is.

It’s almost as if you don’t listen to people when they talk to you.
