Let me clarify.  It’s almost as if you haven’t been listening to the majority of us here who have been telling you for years now, that without any external corroborating evidence we have no reason to believe your book is true, no matter what it says.

That was meant as thick sarcasm, lol.

That's a different subject. I believe whether it's content can be reflected in the heart and mind to be seen as a miracle is possible, but what doesn't help is all this darkness attributed to it, and it must illuminate itself and so the Quran emphasizes on reflections for a reason. I am posting some of these reflections to remove these bad interpretations to be seen as the only interpretation possible.

We can discuss your assessment of Quran proving itself to be circular reasoning, but, it's not the topic of this thread.

It’s the same subject.  You believe a book can prove itself, and you are attempting to do just that with this thread.  That you’re comfortable with your own fallacious reasoning is a “you” problem, not an “us” problem.

Yes, as I said, we’re well aware that you believe your book has magical powers.

Quote:We can discuss your assessment of Quran proving itself to be circular reasoning, but, it's not the topic of this thread.

There is really nothing to discuss. If you do not insist Quran is magical, then using it to prove itself is circular.  If you insist Quran is magical, you now have two assertions to demonstrate: that magic exists, and that Quran is magical, lol.

So, which route would you like to take? Would you rather argue in a circle or try to defend bare assertions?

I perceive it as it truly is.

Lady - dear noble Lady,

I stated my position was to remove the view that these verses have to be interpreted one way and show an alternative and rational way they can be interpreted instead.

That itself doesn't prove Quran. But as far the dark magic is against it argument, it's one of many cases, where it seems like something is mind-fucking us and making us interpret Quran in the most weird way and most against norms of language way and against rational and against other clear verses way.

However, I was not trying to prove Quran in this thread by the content here, I was trying to remove a misconception that has to be interpreted to endorse slavery and sex slaves!

We unbelievers have never been under the mistaken assumption that some verse just has to be interpreted some specific way.

That's what religious nutballs are in the business of - and that is your business of this thread.
