You would think that with all the swearing our Grey hears, she would have a potty beak...for some reason, she doesn't.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

My southern country husband thought this was the correct approach with me...I was beyond being barefoot and pregnant.  I told him more than once that he had to sleep sometime.  Lucky for him, he learned fairly quickly.

When I first moved here I worked for a small company that employed a very close knit group of female immigrants from Mexico.  They weren't exactly bashful in their conversations, especially with regard to their husbands.  And they often spoke in Spanglish so even someone like me could figure out what was being discussed.  A woman was hired who was a long denim skirt wearing, long hair having Pentecostal.  She didn't last long.  She nearly blushed herself to death.
