That video was kind of shitty and over the top. I'd say Muhammad had about average morals for the 6th century. The problem is that we live in the 21st century and nobody should take the moral advice of a 6th century slaver as their guide to live now.

This is true

It's easy to make the argument that Muhammad wasn't exceptional for the time (an argument I've actually used myself before). However the difference between Muhammad and most other historical men is that Muhammad is supposed to be the "perfect man" all Muslim men should aspire to be, and it's fucked when you look at what he did.

Slow down buddy. Mohammed was an upright man, meaning he had a good moral compass.

The perfect messenger that is spoken of in the Qur'an is Christ. Don't assume. If you aren't sure then maybe don't speak? Thanks.
