You believe what the character in a book said he is. In some Star Wars book, Darth Vader says he is Luke's father too. That's the beauty of fiction. Your characters can do and say whatever the hell they want. Yay for fiction!
You're entire basis for claiming to know anything is based entirely on what some human wrote in a book 2000 years ago. In the Muslim's case, they claim to know based on what someone wrote in a book 1300 years ago.
You and a Muslim pick which character's story in a book you believe due to socialization or less charitably, brainwashing.
Neither the Christian or the Muslim can back up their claims other than pointing at their respective books and saying it says so.
