I don't see a problem with asking theists questions. I think this forum is generally incredibly accommodating, and people offer a lot of opportunities for theist input. We could simply say "Fuck off with your fairy stories, this is an atheist forum" and ignore you all completely. I don't want to do that, I want healthy discussion for everyone.
What I do agree with is to not consider the answers we get here from theists to be representative, but that's a matter of common sense. We have a very small sample and some very extreme views on display. I would be embarrassed too by the way Christianity and Islam gets "represented" here. But those with two brain cells to rub together know what we see here is not the norm.
Also, no theists are obliged to answer the questions; nor should members be discouraging them from doing so if they want to.
