Maybe the Church should decide which parts should be taken literally and which parts should be taken metaphorically,until then the default being taking things literally,the bible can be interpreted in a literal fashion.That's what i think.
Well for one thing, I never said God is not our creator. For another, IVF isn't even mentioned anywhere in the bible.
I don't think the Church needs to do that. As long as the overall message of the faith is understood, whether or not someone believes a man named Adam ate an apple, is just details.
