That 'like' has nothing to do with whether or not we are sent to Hell. Or rather 'Liking a person' is no reason to drag them kicking and screaming into Heaven.
The point is that I would not send anyone to hell. I do not believe anyone should be tormented for eternity. And I would not drag anyone kicking and screaming into heaven, either. No one would go there who did not want to go there (though not everyone who wanted to go there would get to go there either).
