The only reality show I ever watched, and this was years ago, was Cops.
Since we were too tired to go out, the TV choice I faced last night was (a) hang out with my wife and watch some reality show about uppity bitches from Orange County or (b) go to another room and watch Ken Burns's "The Civil War" on public television. (In case you're wondering, there was no television option "c" involving maybe both of us watching the documentary because I was informed that the Civil War is boring . . .
)Fast forward an hour or so, and I get asked why I don't want to spend time with her, which isn't true at all. I just don't want to spend time with the OC cunts, the Kardasians, little people inhabiting a big world, survivors of any stripe, some dude stuffing his maw at random diners and cafes, people pitching investors in a shark tank, the Duck Dynasty assholes, Alaskan survivalists, etc. I've played nice and put up with that crap longer than I should have. It's fucking awful.
