If Christianity is true, why are the majority of people in the world NOT Christians?

We have many religions in the world,and most of them point to hope,now mankind can get fooled and some will follow other religion's but through that and then we have unbelief in another group of people such as the atheist's and the agnostic's that's you .But God accepts those who seek him in grace,but how do I know Christianity is true?
Of all the leaders in the world, Jesus alone claimed that he was God himself and backed that up with miracles and rising from the dead. If those things happened, then our quest for God stops with him.Christianity is popular because,Jesus disciples went all over the world to preach and this is also a logical evidence for Christianity.

Whenever we put the Bible to the test archaeologically, it has been confirmed over and over again. We have been able to verify many details that are merely incidental. Legend isn't like this. Eg. the pools at Bethesda [John 5:2].

Interesting that you chose "If" in that phrase and not something more substantial. Such as "when". Me thinks you may have doubts yourself.
