Yeah, and if you told your child that he/she could have slaves and you told your child that they could beat them as long as they didn't die within a day or two, then who would be the immoral one? It would be you! Just because you give someone commands with consequences doesn't mean that you are doing something moral.
You are correct just because you give someone a command that doesn't make you moral. Although God is not like us he created everything and is holy, good and has all power. Your rejection of His scriptures and misrepresenting His commands will not excuse you of obeying them. He made you and He has a purpose for you to fulfill. Your rejection of Him is disastrous to you. God in His mercy grace and love seeks to enlighten you to reality and the danger you are in. He is holy and yet He died in order to bring you to Himself. If you refuse you will have to face His judgment and you will have no defense for yourself.
