I mulled over the pie analogy.  It doesn't work.  it's off by about 30.69 degrees with a repeating 69.

The answer like with cakes and pie analogy lies in the understanding of self control. That elimating all cakes and pies does not change the need or practice of deep rooted self control that He is asking for us to practice.

Likewise the elimination of all sex does not eliminate the need or call God put on us to live a controlled life, and not just live as we want.

So God put us in a world of cake and pie and told those who want to be with Him for eternity how to feed our spiritual side properly.

First of all 'harming people physically' is not the structure 'God's Morality' is based on. That is what pop culture bases morality on. God's morality or 'Righteousness' is based on the type of person we need to be for eternal service to God. Appearantly self control in a hard wired/strong desire to satisfy self in a sexual like manner is apart of our eternal role.

This baker makes all sorts of pies to be enjoyed and he distributes these different types of pies randomly.  One pie he makes is the skitles pie (taste the rainbow).  he makes this and randomly puts it out to his customers (which is everyone).  Too many pies is not a good thing but no pie ever is worse on health and sanity.  These are really good pies.

Before leaving the shop on an extended leave of absence, he (or someone) posts all over town that the skitles pie is not to be enjoyed but instead it is to be smashed and thrown away where ever they are to be found. Further that anyone who does enjoy the skitles pie will forever be denied any more baking goods from his shop (which means starvation).

The problem is that there is a customer base that only likes the skitles pie and thinks the others are disgusting ( no beaver pie for them).  For them it's either sneak the skitles for any sort of enjoyment in their lives or never enjoy that part of life that is sweet.  So they must choose starvation or insanity.[\quote]
This is a comprehensive failure. The analogy as originally given spoke to cakes and pies/sweets. These sweets were in contrast to a well balanced diet. Sex is to the spirit as cakes and pies are to the body. The primary point being the spiritual side of us need more than to indulge itself on a diet of 'sweets'/what ever it wants sexually to be healthy and well balanced.

Again a spiritual diet of whatever type of sex you want is a kin to just eating sweets for nourishment.. For one to be well balanced/nourished spiritually for eternal service with God. One must at least try/want to only have sex in the way God prescribes.

So even with this analogy we are back to these questions.

Did the baker make the skitles pie as a cruel joke because he likes to see his pies smashed and the people who enjoy them suffer or

Did he make mistakes (consistently) and now wants the majority of customers to fix his mistakes or

Did a group of people who think the skitles pie is disgusting just want it off the market so that no one could have it?

You only have those questions because you changed the analogy to allow yourself these strawman questions.

If someday they prove that homosexuality is biological then that could mean the beginning of the end for religion and you know that.... don't you.

So.. Your waiting for the day that your 'precious'/science (who whole heartedly holds fast to Darwinian evolution) to "prove" homosexual is a 'natural' part of genetic evolution...

Honestly think about that for a moment before you speak or quote some example of social evolution and not genetic/natural development.

If homosexuality is a natural/genetic predisposition, then why over time hasn't the homosexual gene been breed out of the gene pool? Isn't that how evolution works? If homosexuals can not reproduce then then why hasn't homosexual gene been bred out of the human gene pool?

Also know that the answer you will give makes homosexuality a socially evolved choice not a genetic one.

How can I say this? Because the homosexual gene is the elusive white wale of your arguement of blind faith.
