Gravity isn't a real thing but what is an attempt to explain why stones fell down.
So when we say that gravity was discovered what we mean is - an explanation as to why stones came down to earth was discovered.
I mean like,science is never going to find out the ^source^
We have discovered what gravity is, a warp in space-time.
We have discovered the source of gravity, mass.
Now, why does mass clumping together cause space-time to warp? We don't know, yet... We've gotten this many parts of it figured out, why would you assume it's impossible to figure out the rest?
