And that's where you're using a straw man. I've never read one say that. What I've read them say is that there would not have been as many deaths if citizens had been armed.

It wouldn't have made a difference at a concert because even in places which allow citizens to carry firearms -- like the US -- the concert promoters and venue owners don't permit them on the premises, and they would have been confiscated had they been found.
I'm not so sure I agree that a citizen with a gun would have increased the casualties at the concert, myself.
