What can atheists do / not do?

Do you atheists have any rules about what you can or can't do?

I do. For example, I can't fire a gun with any semblance of hope that I will hit my target.

So you're allowed to do pretty much anything you like. Doesn't that lead to chaos?

It is held in check by the fact that anyone else can do pretty much anything they like... so order arises very quickly from the chaos.

So you're letting yourselves be ruled purely by your own whims. Prisons are full of people who live that way.

Actually, prisons are full of people that are just trying to get by, or that believe what they did was just.

People like me are the ones you have to watch out for... might save your life... might steal your car.

No rules at all? How do you expect to lead good lives without at least some rules about your conduct?

We all have rules, just probably not all the same ones.

I don't expect to lead a good life, but I expect myself to do good things with my life
