Yeah, Universe really got shafted. That was a shame, it had potential. I felt Atlantis was pretty weak by season 5, every episode just seemed to be "get captured by Wraith, escape, rinse and repeat". All the incredible moral dilemmas and interesting stories from the earlier seasons were gone.
SG1, well... I felt seasons 9 and 10 were pretty weak also, so I think it had run its course. That's a long time for any show to keep going. It kicked ass up until then, as did Atlantis, especially seasons 1-3.
