I don't "reject God". I simply do not believe any god exists.
Do you reject the Hindu, Muslim, Zoroastrian gods? Or do you simply disbelieve they exist?
I honestly arrived at my disbelief by never being presented with demonstrable evidence and reasoned argument to support the claim that a god does exist.
I am open to being convinced, but it will take more than ancient texts, anecdotal stories, fallacious philosophical arguments and all the other poor evidence provided by theists so far.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
