We do not hate god.
Hate implies something has to be real before even making the claim, because you cannot hate something that does not exist. So this is not the same terminoloy as rejection. Rejecting an idea simply means to disbelieve its accuracy, which is what atheists believe, we do not hate god, because we do not think the claim of one existing is accurate in the first place.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?
