I dunno. Donald Trump has mostly Christian supporters who cheer when he says such things as "people of the Ummah should wear badges in public". I don't hear Richard Dawkins or Lawrence Kraus trying to emulate Adolf Hitler. And it's certainty not Atheists who work at Fox News.
But, I agree, the OP is clearly misinformed if he thinks Atheists don't treat the Quran equally to other relgious texts. Certainly, there are some people weird people who think that it's racist (WTF?) to comment on the Quran, but these are a minority and are obviously in bed with those Saudi funded Fascist organizations who set up Dawah tables in Western cities who claim to be peaceful despite that fact that their victimhood mentality is driving people to DAESH.
People who say that you can't both criticize Western foreign policy and the Quran are mentally deficient. I will condemn warmongering of all kinds. It's not an either or situation. The reason we have so many terrorists is because of the fascists in control of the United States. Arabs used to be more secular until the Americans started drinking oil form Saudi penis.
