There's more literature about Batman in the last century among more authors than the Bible Jesus Christ in all of history, all with individuals within those stories that certainly testify to Batman's existance.
That still doesn't mean that Batman is real.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church.
