Welcome back to the dark side, btw. ;-)
Hi Catholic Lady, well...I had an experience of faith a few months ago, something I'd consider was the Holy Spirit. I know that to many here (and I'd have thought this at one time too) that it could have been a coincidence, but even if I apply Occam's Razor to it, I believe it was spiritual as to what happened. So, I came back. I hadn't considered returning, nothing about Christianity interested me anymore, until a few months ago, and now, I'm back to prayer, church (not regularly though), and believing. I'm not strict on dogmas, I feel that faith should be experienced, as opposed to merely recited and agreed upon 'just because.' There are still some things within the Bible I question, but I believe that there is a Creator, and life is quite good. Thanks for asking.
Thank you for taking the time to answer. Hope you had a good Christmas and New Years!
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
