Is that because you don't believe it exists or just because you're confident you won't be going there?
I used to wonder about Christians who were always looking forward to the rapture. I doubt they thought much about it, but I'm thinking "Ok, so you're looking forward to the damnation of most of the world, friends and family who are sinners, so that you can leave your Earthly troubles behind?
They might as well say that they would burn your neighbors alive for enough money to retire.
I know what the Bible says about it, but...Idk. I just never really concerned myself with it. There is a yin and yang in this lifetime, could there be a yin and yang in an afterlife? I do believe in an afterlife, and think that the Bible's rendition of it, might just be stories. People's ideas of what it might be. Jesus spoke of hell, but He wasn't as specific as other passages of the Bible, or even the OT's depiction of it.
It always irks me when Christians or any religious people, attempt to 'predict' who will be in heaven, or hell. To me, if you are a believer, you choose a certain path. That path is between you and God. Likewise, my belief is that God loves everyone, the same. And everyone has their own path to follow. But, it's not for me to tell you or an unbeliever to jump on my path, or else something horrible will happen. You know what I mean?
