I definitely expect my life as an atheist is easier than that of a theist going forward. Although, if you live far enough in the south, that probably isn't the case there yet. But they're 30 or 40 years behind most of the time on a lot of stuff.
I'm about as far south and 'in the belt' as you can get; perhaps that explains our difference in perspective. That was the point of this thread... exposure to different perspectives.
