The Bible has a great story about honor murders.  People who do them today are a lot more restrained in their actions.  

In Genesis chapter 34 Jacob's thug sons went bat shit crazy when their sister Dinah got laid.  They invaded the city, killed all the males, stole everything that wasn't nailed down, kidnapped all of the women and children for their future rape victims.  That was scummy.
