I have presented more philosophical ideas on the afterlife in this thread (post # 7).
I like your tone of text. Please dont get me wrong, my last post and this post is me being very calm with you and hopefully friendly posts will continue between us. You realize you made the mistake of saying software and hardware. I specifically said that we KNOW the thought patterns of your brain i.e. "the soft ware" is electrochemical. It can be measured and even manipulated. No soul has been found yet. Saying that it is not bound or limited by physical laws are a cop out. Here is a list of things not bound by physical laws:
smurfs
elves
bugs bunny
and if no soul exists, and that is the best you can do to explain a soul, then anything you discuss about the afterlife is useless...no soul, then no worry of an afterlife or allah...unless allah slings a rock from the sky onto your head and squishes you..but no hell..no soul to torment.
You want to focus on something? Find some REAL proof for a soul and then get back to me with the rest of your philosophies on the afterlife and junk..mmkay?
