Any thoughts on this?
I am certainly not a fan, especially if both are from completely different cultures, unless one is completely willing and wants to be assimilated by the other culture. There are far too many provisions to be made to keep everything fair, and eventually one spouse will begin to resent the other, unless they are willing to give everything up. Not to mention the children have to be super strong unless they look enough like one of the races to pass off as a member of that race. they will have no one to identify with, even in their own mom/dad cousins grand parents etc... (they will all be one race or the other)
Interracial relationships are often done by selfish people, or those looking to better their situation. neither typically give thought to the effect of the relationship the family they come from or the one they will leave behind.
One other thing to note.. Have you EVER Seen an Old interracial couple? they are very few and far between, why? because they fight over things people of the same race take for granted, things like food, division of chores, gender roles, in laws, the kids that have a hard time connecting, ect it all gets toooo much and they split.
Unless again one spouse is willing to be assimilated into the others culture.
As far as God is concerned Christian's should not marry non Christians. Nor should we divorce if one comes to or leaves the faith and the other does not.
