You're gonna kill many birds with one stone.
It will take you a while. Think of it as home schooling.
Go through the book, study, and understand all the various fallacies on Robs link.
Highlight all the fallacies in yellow highlight.
Number every one of them individually.
Get an exercise book. Put the corresponding numbers in there with a brief explanation of the fallacy and why it doesn't make logical sense. This will teach you reading, writing, critical thinking skills, and in the background will slowly evaporate those stubborn lingering thoughts you get from time to time.
You don't need to show anybody.... Forget the ego. This is about GeneralDog becoming:
