Don't pretend to know much in detail. Guessing your are getting at Einsteins relativity. Using the speed of light that is measured the same by all observers, and due to length contraction causing an object to get shorter the faster it travels towards the speed of light. And then the time dilation that time is relative in space time. So everything in space is travling through space and time at the same rate. And I don't remember if time speeds up or down on the moving object compared to the stationary object it's measured with. As far as going faster then the speed of light, you could travel backwards in time, maybe? I'm ready to be schooled in this, and I'm not being sarcastic. This is all very interesting to me and I'd like to learn more.
Just imagine if light traveled slower towards the speed of sound. How would anything work. Everything you looked at would be in a different place, I guess exactly what happens when we look into space, where the light that reaches our eyes, isn't where the object in that moment of time.
