The entire law was a "schoolmaster" to let the jews know that you can't fulfill the law without the spirit of God. It is a tool to bring about humility. So that we can see that we are a sinners in need of grace from God. That grace came through the cross when Jesus died for our sins. Now that I have accepted God I am under the law of the Spirit. I have new desires and those desires move me toward the things of God. Also I have already talked about slavery you are assuming that the slavery spoken about in the laws was the same as those around Judaism and or in America past or even today.
You shouldn't lie to yourself and misread the Bible and create a false god to disbelieve in, it won't save you. I believe and know the true and living God. He isn't like us and your small thoughts about Him will not bring Him down, but instead it will keep you enslaved to your sin and self delusion.
So like I said to Redbeard your belief system can't explain reality, it can't give you worth, it can't give you objective truth. You pretend that you understand reality. Your system is shallow and will not be able to support you when you truly need real answers about the heard and difficult question you have. You are blindly following everyone else around pretending that one day you will not have to give an account for you actions. God is gracious actually He is rich in grace. The fact that you have the opportunity to type your blasphemous words about Him shows His kindness. Play the game if you wish but it will cost you your soul. Pretend to be more enlightened than I am but it will not save you. Only God can.
How smart you think you must be. You conveniently avoid answering any of my questions. You don't provide proof of anything and yet here you are, sitting in judgment, doing something your god wouldn't want you to do.
I have read the bible. And that is precisely why those questions were asked to you. So, by your own avoidance of those questions, you come off as unintelligent and unable to really get to the heart of the truth. And that is that you, my dear, are nothing more than a hypocrite. There is no game playing here, so it won't cost my soul one penny. If you can't recognize that your god is cruel, unjust, wreckless and narcissistic, then there is no hope for you. If you have to move your goal posts in order to avoid answering the simplest of questions, then you're just wasting my time.
You may have read the bible but you have not understood it. If you had you would have seen that I did answer your question except the one about submitting to my husband. I will right now. So my husband is a picture of Christ and I am a picture of the Church. My husband like Christ is called to live his life to protect me, keep me holy and die for me. He is called to love me as if I were his own body. (feed, protect, clean, look after me, keep me from harm). I in turn should respect him. Hey, my husband has a heavy load so all I have to is respect and submit. We have a mission and it is to glorify God. So he doesn't neglect my abilities he just is the leader. I am called to help him lead. This love relationship with my husband and me is a small picture of what Christ has done for His church. He laid down His life so that I can become attached to Him for the rest of eternity. Where He goes I go. He protects the church, His people, like He would his own body. He makes us holy with His grace and love. This isn't an evil God.
Also about judging, I can judge but not in my own human understanding but by God's standards. I have been given the Holy Spirit and by that Spirit I can know the mind of Christ. Through prayer, bible study and communing with God He makes His spirit conform me to His image. So when you write foolish things like God is cruel, unjust, wreckless, narcissist it shows that you lack understanding. You have created your own god out of your own imagination. This misunderstanding is what God is seeking to help you with.
