Once again, THE BIBLE SAYS OTHERWISE!
Did you read the verses I quoted earlier? They specify that Jesus preached far and wide and his fame spread like wildfire among all the neighboring provinces.
Go read your own Bible. Matthew 4:23-25.
I can provide more examples upon request.
The Jesus-of-the-gaps apology isn't Biblically supported.
I had posted before I saw your post or I would have included your post. Yes Jesus did preach in these places and His popularity did spread to close by places but His travel never carried Him far from Judea. Jesus popularity was for the most part His healing and He speaks to that several times in scripture. Many healers were around before and after Jesus and they are not recorded in history either, others who were calling themselves the messiah during the the days before and after Jesus are not recorded in history. The world was not interested in a Messiah that was teaching and healing in a small area of the world. The main importance of this region was the trade routes and this is probably the only interest Rome had for this area because it was a pain in the rear for them otherwise.
Why is it that none of the others that claimed to heal and be the messiah were not written about by their followers and the included in the Bible.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
